"By all these lovely tokens September days are here, With summer's best of weather And autumn's best of cheer." Helen Hunt Jackson

Cape Breton in September, is there any place on earth better to be?

As people wind back up into regular routines, kids head to school, vacations are over and the hay is in the barn, I hope you'll take a minute or two to see where God has put you.  The sunsets paint his glory most nights, the leave start to reveal his masterpiece on the mountains, and the wind starts to blow with the cool refreshing of his breath.  I love it!

Now that you've taken a minute to take it in, here are some things happening over the next months that you can participate in the CB christian community.

Teen Retreat is coming up on Sept 19-20th.  Get registered and bring a friend, it will be a great weekend!  Pierre Chaisson will be speaking and Joe Cook and the Tuesday Night Collective will be leading worship.  Go to for more info or to register.

Lighthouse 2.0 will be having worship night at the Highland Arts Theatre on Sept. 20th

September 27-28th is GFC's  Anniversary Weekend.  We have Pastor Rob Jones from Faith Baptist Church in Sydney sharing with us for the weekend.  On Saturday night at 6:00 pm there will be a Covered Dish Potluck Dinner at 6:00pm with Music and Pastor Jones sharing some of his story.  He will Speak Sunday morning at our regular morning service at 10:30 am and again on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm where there will be a Traditional Hymn Sing before he speaks.

October 26th Joe Cook will be speaking and there will be a potluck after the service to celebrate Joe and Gem's time as Youth Directors at Grace Fellowship Church and encourage them in what God is leading them into next.

We hope you'll join us for some of these events and we hope to see you at our regular Sunday Service.  Coffee is on at 9:45 for fellowship time before the service which starts at 10:30.  We also have prayer room open before the service if anyone wants to come and pray with people.

Be Blessed.
