Christmas Kettle and special guest Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas everyone
I trust everyone is finished their Christmas shopping and is sitting by the fire with your feet up relaxed and ready for Christmas morning... well maybe not everyone.  If you're not quite done, I hope the Lord gives you his joy, patience and love this week (and whatever other fruits of the spirit you may need) to show someone Jesus' love while you're in the checkout line or cooking up a storm for all the family and friends that are coming, or going to a work party with those people you don't get along with.  Jesus is the reason, LET SOMEONE KNOW!

This week we'll have an opportunity to help out some families in need in CBRM by "Adopting a Kettle" for the Salvation Army.  On Thursday from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm we'll be at the Sobeys in North Sydney with the kettle collecting donations.  All the money given at these kettles stays in this area to assist families in need so this is a great way to help your neighbor.  So often we don't even know the needs around us but the Salvation Army is very active in our community, it's an honor to help them out with this campaign.  Please contact Joey to sign up for a time to watch the kettle.

On Christmas Eve we will have a special Christmas Eve program at Grace.  Our Guest speaker will be Wayne MacLeod.  Come and join us as we hear some encouraging words about Jesus, worship our king, and enjoy the company of friends and family.

Christmas morning we will also have a service with Joey sharing a message about "Unwrapping our Gifts".  Regular time and place, 10:00am.  You can where your Christmas p.j.'s if you want.

Check out the CB Prayer 24/7 facebook page if you're interested in bringing in the New Year with a week of constant prayer.  http://www.facebook.com/cbprayer247

Be Blessed.
