Hello everyone, this week we will have the Ethiopia Mission Team sharing about there resent trip. A group of 8 women traveled together at the the end of August to make connections with missions organizations already on the ground in Ethiopia. There is a desire and vision from God for Cape Breton to be a sending place for missionaries to Ethiopia. Come and hear what God revealed during the trip and to pray for more guidance and empowerment of the Holy spirit to see this vision come to fruition.
Also, we are entering the home stretch for the 30 days of waiting which will end on the last day of the month. On the 29th, people will join together (for anyone who wants to) for a day of fasting. From whenever you eat your supper until the next day at the same time people will be fasting. We'll end the last day of waiting with a time to share some things the Lord has revealed to people during this month of seeking him. If you haven't made it out yet, please come and join us for an evening. The church will be open from 7-9 pm each night until Sept. 30th.
October will be a busy month for Grace with lots of opportunity to help out and celebrate. We are hosting the A.R.P. Presbytery, celebrating 20 years of Grace Fellowship Church and hosting a Youth Retreat (Huge 2011) so please be in prayer about how Jesus wants you to get your hands dirty, get your feet wet, put your nose to the grindstone, pull up your bootstraps, roll up your sleeves, whatever idiom you prefer. There's lots to be done, lets not let the workers be few.
Joe will be taking a break from the L.O.V.E series this week. Pastor Rick will speak for the evening service. Next week will pick up again on Love = Vulnerable.
Have a great week and Be Blessed.
