On Wednesday evening, there is a benefit concert and silent auction to raise money for Rob and Jo Andrea. Rob is going through another round of radiation treatments after his recent brain surgery to remove cancer that was missed during his initial surgery and treatments. Rob has been unable to work since his first surgery and Jolene just gave birth to their second child. They need our help so come out on Wednesday night at 7:00pm to the Bra D'Or Hall (24 Villa Dr.) to hear some great music and help a family in need. Music will include, Eric Angus Whyte, Rob and Jolene Reid, Chalk Dust, Wrapped in Rona and The Colin Grant Band.
We also have another family in need who you can help in a different way. Terry and Tracy lost all their possession in a fire last year, they have recently re-established themselves in an apartment in Sydney Mines and have come to us for help. Their immediate needs are furniture and appliances such as; a dryer, a double bed, a chesterfield and chair, T.V., a dresser. Also there are some other smaller items they could use as well. If you wish to provide any of these things you can email or call the church and we'll arrange getting them there, or you can drop them of yourself at 57 Forest St. in Sydney Mines.
Sunday we have a special guest with us for our morning service, George Hamilton IV and James Bell. They are members of Drop Inn Ministries which is a Registered Christian Charity that seeks to bring Hope, Help and Healing to a hurting world through providing Humanitarian Aid. We're blessed to have them stop at Grace during their Maritime Tour. Please come to meet them, pray for them as ask how the Lord would have you support them.
This week we'll be having Ken Hunter speaking at Grace for our Sunday Morning Service. He'll be sharing his perspectives as we continue on with our series on Crazy Love focusing on chapters 5 & 6. I hope you'll come open and ready to be challenged by what Ken has to say to us. http://matters-of-freedom.blogspot.com/
