Another busy week at Grace!

This Thursday evening at 7:00pm there will be a Ladies Gathering at Sarah Johnstone's house.  Join the ladies for some fun and fellowship.

Saturday Night is the annual Cape Breton Bible Camp fund raiser banquet.  It starts at 6:00 pm, tickets are $15 per person.  Phil MacCormack will be speaking.  The banquet is at the Millville Community Hall and you can get tickets from any board member.  Contact the church if you don't know any board members.

Several people from the congregation travelled to Jesus to the Nations this past weekend and heard powerful and challenging messages from George Verwer and Ron Cline about global missions and the need to get involved and stop being spectators and critics in our own churches and communinties.  This Sunday we will have missionairies Emo and Kathy Yango sharing with us during our morning worship service.  Hopefully we will hear God calling us to our own mission field, whether here at home or around the world.

!!!Jesus to the Nation!!!

This weekend is Jesus to the nations weekend in Halifax.  It is a great missions conference, if you have a heart for missions but are not sure where the Lord wants to send you this is a great time to what the Lord has people doing around the world.  There are mission display booths for just about anything you can think of, great speakers and worship times and workshops to go deeper into specific areas of interests.  If you want to help make disciples of the nations this is a great place to go and let the Lord lead you in the direction he has planned out for you.

Lots of people from our church will be traveling down, please pray for safe travel and that the Lord would really open people up to what he wants to speak to them throughout the weekend.

Praying and Navigating Through Change

For the next two Sundays we will have guest speaker David Fitzpatrick speaking at our Sunday morning service.  He will do a two week series teaching on Praying and Navigating Through Change.  He and his wife Peggy have been involved in helping several churches move through transitions by learning to listen and follow God's plan.
The discussion groups after the message will focus on three points relating to the message.  We're hoping everyone will be willing to share over the next couple weeks in your groups.

1. What is the dominant or main change you are facing in life?

2. What is the main obstacle you are facing in going through that change?

3. How can we as friends pray for you in this situation?

The questions will be a chance to build relational bridges towards a greater sense of connectedness and community.
Hope to see you there,
Be blessed.
